1. Our Own Portal – Important Platform
to Managing and Growing Our Membership.
This portal shall provide an inexpensive and easy access to members.
It shall focus on:
- Facilitating e-Business at special members' rates.
- Dissemination, sharing, posting of information.
- Business networking, advertising and promotions of business.
- And many other things.
2. The Cooperative, Acting as an Umbrella.
Asmara shall apply/register, through wholly-owned subsidiary company,
for requisite licences to conduct business under which sub-licences
or sub-contracts could be distributed to members and/or members’
business firms; provided that they have the relevant skills, know-how,
technology, and experience. Among the relevant licences that we
may possess are, but not limited to:
- PKK "Bumiputra" Company
- CIDB Licensed Contractor
- Registered Contractor/Supplier in the panel of GLCs, Government
Agencies or Ministries such as:
- Petronas
- TNB
- TMB/Celcom
- Malaysia Airlines
- Malaysia Airports
- UEM
- JBA/Syabas/PUAS/SAJ
- MRCB
- FELDA/FELCRA
- MARA
- JKR/DBKL
- MoF/MoE/MoH/MoD
3 To Set up a Corporate Agency for maximizing e-business Platforms.
At the start, a division will have to be established to handle insurance
schemes with products that are specially-rated and designed for
its members. The advent of IT and the introduction of e-covernote
and e-pay systems will facilitate the setting-up and management
of this scheme. Members shall be drawn to purchase their insurance
needs through the cooperative.
